Gago (António)
António Gago, a nobleman of the Algarve, was a companion of Zargo on the first voyage of discovery of the archipelago.
In the article Afonso (João) we did not mention another companion of João Gonçalves Zarco on his first voyage of discovery to the archipelago, named António Gago, whom Frutuoso describes as ‘a nobleman of the Gagos of the Algarve’.
