Falgairolle (Edmond)

Edmond Falgairolle published in Paris in 1895 a partial pamphlet on the French corsair attack on Madeira in 1566.

In 1895 he published in Paris a pamphlet of 31 pages entitled Une expedition française à l'ile de Madère en 1566. With evident partiality, it deals with the terrible attack that French corsairs made on this island in October 1566, which Gaspar Frutuoso treats at length in chapters XL, XLI and XLII of ‘Longing for the Homeland’ (Saudades da Terra).
