Three short-lived newspapers titled A Epocha: two in Funchal (1886 and 1895) and one in Ponta do Sol (1912).
The first periodical of this title to be published in Funchal appeared on 6 September 1886 and ended on the 30th of the same month and year, after eight issues.
Another newspaper with the same title appeared in 1895 and ran to six issues, the first on 14 January and the last on 21 February.
On 16 June 1912 yet another periodical with the same title appeared in the town (vila) of Ponta do Sol (‘point of the sun’); it was the third newspaper to be published in that town.
