Boca das Torrinhas
Mountain pass separating the Boaventura serra from that of Curral das Freiras, noted for Sedum farinosum and Isoplexis sceptrum.
It separates the Boaventura (‘good fortune’) uplands from those of Curral das Freiras (‘nuns’ fold’). Sedum farinosum, a plant of the family Crassulaceae, and Isoplexis sceptrum, a shrub of the family Scrophulariaceae, are common at the Boca das Torrinhas (‘pass of the little towers’) and in its vicinity.
