Locality in the parish of Madalena do Mar where the ruins of an old chapel of Santa Quitéria, founded by Padre Diogo de Freitas Faria, survive.
In this locality, in the parish (freguesia) of Madalena do Mar (‘Magdalene by the sea’), there once stood an old chapel dedicated to Santa Quitéria (St Quiteria), whose ruins can still be seen there. It was founded by Father Diogo de Freitas Faria, in a year that is not known.
