Águas Doces
Águas Doces is the name of a small beach and stretch of coast near Funchal, lying between the Ilhéu da Pontinha and the mouth of the Ribeiro Seco.
This name is given to a small beach and stretch of coastline lying between the Ilhéu da Pontinha (‘islet of the little point’) and the mouth of the Ribeiro Seco (‘dry brook’).
