Quinta Pavão is an English-owned estate in Funchal. The attempted expropriation of the estate in connection with the Madeira sanatoria caused a diplomatic dispute. It was also the planned venue of a ball with late fifteenth-century dances during the quincentenary of the discovery of Madeira.
