Canon who presided over the governing board of the Funchal Misericórdia from 1930 to 1933. He was chiefly responsible for moving the hospital to the Marmeleiros building. The notes also record a Liberal of Mindelo named Manuel Camacho, apparently from Santo António, who died there around 1880.
