Albafar (Notidanus griseus)

Deep-sea shark of the Notidanidae family, very voracious and from which only the liver is used for the extraction of the so-called fish oil. Some individuals yield up to 10 gallons of oil. The flesh is rejected as being among the worst that the shark group can provide.
