Ichthyologist and former director of the Zoological Museum of Christiania. Works: On a new Pediculate Fish from the Sea of Madeira (Proc Zool. Soc., X 1886); and Sur quelques poissons rapportés de Madère par le Prince de Monaco (Bullet. Soc. Zool. France XV 1890).
