Choupa (Cantharus griseus)

A fish of the Sparidae family, not very common in the coastal waters of this archipelago. It has a shellfish flavor and is almost always caught with a hook, sometimes being caught in a sieve or in trawl nets, but always in small numbers, perhaps due to its solitary habits and aversion to schooling.
