Chá Bravo

In Madeira, the two following subshrubs are known by this name, both belonging to the Malvaceae family and originating from America: Sida carpínifolia and S. rhomnbifolia. Both have serrated leaves and small yellow flowers, but the peduncles, which in the first species are very short and 1-4 flowered, are relatively long and 1-flowered in the second species. The infusion of chá bravo can be used as an emollient.
