Celindra (Alepocephalus rostratus)

A fish from the deep sea, belonging to the Alepocephalidae family, with a black color and large, loosely adherent scales, occasionally caught in the waters of Madeira. It gets caught on the hook of the black scabbardfish gear, and although it has very white flesh and a pleasant appearance, it is not used as food.
