Vineyard Snail (Helix pisana) / Caracol da Vinha (Helix pisana)

A gastropod mollusk found in the eastern region of Madeira, in the low region of Porto Santo, and also in the Selvagens. In Porto Santo, where it was once very abundant, it is used as food for domestic ducks.
