Cais do “Palace Hotel”

It was ordered to be built by the late Dr. Antas, and improved and expanded by Messrs. W. and A. Reid, owners of the "Palace Hotel", on Estrada Monumental. Cais da "Companhia Wilson". It is located near the quinta do Calaça, and was built in 1903 or shortly thereafter. At the Gorgulho site, a inclined plane and an iron staircase were ordered to be built by the same company.
