Santa Cruz Pier / Cais de Santa Cruz

There was a small landing stage in Santa Cruz, built in 1845, and then a pier ordered to be built by the Directorate of Public Works in 1870, or shortly thereafter. The current pier is the work of the General Board of the District, and was built from 1908 to 1909. Porto Novo Pier. The small landing stage in this location was built by the General Board in 1904, 1905, and 1908.
