Branco (João Soares)

In January 1906, the decree for his appointment as civil governor of Madeira was issued, and he took office on the 30th of that month and year. He was a deputy for Madeira in the legislative session from 1908 to 1910. In 1915, he published in Lisbon a 103-page pamphlet entitled A Nova Questão Hinton, which contains a collection of articles published in the newspaper O Paiz. He was a minister and a lecturer at the Army School. He passed away in Lisbon on February 4, 1927.
