Bicuda (Sphyraena spet)

A migratory fish in the seas of Madeira. It is elongated and almost cylindrical, reaching just over 1 meter. It travels in schools, is very voracious, and prefers to prey on sardines, horse mackerel, and generally the fish that the fishermen of these islands call ruama. It is caught at night using the trolling method. Although its flavor is not very refined, it is not unpleasant.
