Barradas (Dr. Francisco da Silva)

He was born in the parish of Câmara de Lobos and had a degree in law from the University of Coimbra. He had a great reputation in Lisbon as a lawyer and especially as a notary, and for some years he edited a legal journal that focused particularly on notarial matters and enjoyed great credibility in his time. He died in Lisbon in the last decade of the 19th century.
