He mentions eight species of Madeiran membraniporids in his article entitled Observations on the Membraniporidae (Linn. Societ Journ, XXVI, 1898). He also wrote an article entitled Bryzoa of Madeira, in the Journal of the Royal Microscopy Society (1899).
