Violet (Viola adorata var. maderensis) / Violeta (Viola adorata var. maderensis)

A perennial plant of the Violaceae family, common in the ravines of the interior of Madeira. Its flowers, with a mild scent, are emollient and diaphoretic. There is an odorless violet on the island, whose botanical name is Viola silvatica var. Riviniana.
