Vahl (Dr. Martin)

A Danish botanist who was in Madeira from 1901 to 1902 and from 1920 to 1921. During his second visit to the island, he also visited Porto Santo. He authored 'Madeiras Vegetation', Copenhagen, 1904 and 'Ueber die Vegetation Madeiras' (Engler's BotanischeJahrbuchn, 1905).
