Túmulo-Monumento

This is the name given to the monument erected in the cemetery of Angústias, in memory of those who were brutally killed by the grenades of a German submarine on December 3, 1916. We have already provided a brief account of it on page 68 of Volume I of this work, to which we refer the reader. It was handed over to the Municipal Council of this municipality on December 15, 1917. See Monuments.
