Tentilhão (Fringilla tintillon)
A bird of the Fringillidae family, common in the wooded areas of the middle region of Madeira, where it only appears accidentally.
It has beautiful plumage and a pleasant song. It builds its nest with roots and grass stems or lichens, and the interior is lined with wool, hair, or feathers. It lays 4 eggs, which can vary from light green or light blue to reddish, passing through dark blue.
