Silva (Dr. Cândido Joaquim da)

He was born in Funchal in 1806 and obtained a doctorate in medicine from the University of Montpellier in 1830. He: Considérations générales sur la syphilis (thesis). He passed away from cerebral apoplexy on February 8, 1879. He was known among us by the name Dr. Silvado.
