São Paulo (Rua de)

It was located between the Carreira gate and the São João stream, being included today in Dr. Vieira street, formerly Carreira street.

Today, the square in front of the chapel of the same name is called Largo de S. Paulo, and the alley of S. Paulo, the public road that connects the same square with Rua da Ribeira. In the past, the so-called 'site of São Paulo', comprising the surroundings of the chapel, extended to the bank of the São João stream.
