Santa Isabel (Chapels of) / Santa Isabel (Capelas de)

There is a beautiful and spacious chapel of this invocation located in the building of the Misericórdia of this city, with access through the vestibule of the same building. Its construction is believed to date back to the early 18th century. The main altar, with gilded woodcarving, is of great beauty, although perhaps with an excessive accumulation of ornaments. (1921)

Adjacent to the hospital in the town of Santa Cruz, there is also a chapel dedicated to Santa Isabel.
