Santana e Vasconcelos (Henrique de)

He was born on this island and held a senior position in the Customs. He served as the representative for Madeira in the legislative session from 1884 to 1887. When Canon Alfredo César de Oliveira relinquished his position as deputy for this archipelago for the legislature from 1887 to 1889, Henrique de Santana was called upon to fill the vacancy as the most voted candidate.
