Rodrigues (Rodrigo)

This distinguished Azorean, one of the promoters of the publication of books III and IV of 'Saudades da Terra' and the author of the excellent biography of Gaspar Frutuoso that accompanies the first of these books, held the position of finance inspector in the district of Funchal, but stayed very little time on this island. It is from October 1921 that his name first appears on the payroll, but he did not stay long enough to take possession of that position.
