Read Cabral (Guilherme)

Deceased Azorean writer, who served as the director of the customs of Funchal from 1892 to 1895. In this city, he published a book titled Ângela Santa Clara in 1895, with aspirations of being a historical novel, which is read with pleasure despite the anachronisms and fictions it contains. He also published a pamphlet with a poem dedicated to Christopher Columbus (Funchal, 1892).
