Associação Madeirense promotora do Bem Publico e do Auxilio Mútuo

It was founded in 1877, due to the initiative of Dr. João da Câmara Leme, later Count of Canavial, and had a short duration. In the project of its statutes, the associates were given the right to borrow money from the association's treasury at an interest of five percent.
