Quadra (D. Manuel de la)

He was born in Spain in the year 1835 and died in Funchal on April 3, 1903. From 1897 until the date of his death, he served as a contracted professor at our Industrial School. He was a distinguished portrait painter, and there are several oil paintings by his hand in this island.
