Porto Santo (Conde do)

The statesman and diplomat António Saldanha da Gama, who married a Madeiran lady, the daughter and heiress of the former landowner José de Brito Heredia, was granted the title of Count of Porto Santo by decree of October 26, 1823, a title that did not have succession.
