Ponta do Pargo (Farol da)
At the top of the maritime coast promontory, known as Ponta do Pargo and locally called Vigia, stands the lighthouse building, whose existence had long been demanded, but only became a concrete reality in 1922, when that coast began to be illuminated. Somewhere it is read that this lighthouse "emits three successive beams of white light with a power of 5,500 candles, each lasting 0.5 seconds, at intervals of 3.5 seconds".
