Poço (Largo do)

It is the square next to Campo do Almirante Reis, where Rua de Santa Maria ends. It has a fountain, with a certain architectural flair, which is currently supplied with water from Tornos, but before 1911, it only provided groundwater, which was extracted from the subsoil by means of a pump. A short distance away was the old church of Nossa Senhora do Calhau.
