Árvore do Paraíso (Elaeagnus hortensis)

A tree of the Elaeagnaceae family cultivated in Madeira and Porto Santo. It has silver foliage and yellow, fragrant flowers, and on the island of Porto Santo, it is used to protect the vineyards from sand invasion.
