Pintassilgo (Carduelis carduelis)

A bird of the Fringillidae family that nests in Madeira, but has not been found on the other islands of the archipelago. Its clutch consists of 4 or 5 eggs, slightly bluish or greenish white with brick-colored spots. The nest is composed of thin roots on the outside and wool and other soft materials on the inside.
