Horsetail (Equisetum maximum) / Pinheirinho (Equisetum maximum)

Equisetaceae easy to recognize by its white stems, its sheaths with 20 to 40 teeth, and by the whorled branches of its sterile stems (20 to 40 in each whorl). It is found in moist places in S. Vicente, S. Roque, etc. The infusion of this cryptogamic plant has diuretic properties.
