Perrixil (Crithmum maritimum)

A glaucous umbellifer with fleshy, 2-3-pinnate leaves abundant on the north coast of Madeira; it has also been found at Ponta de S. Lourenço, between Gorgulho and Praia Formosa, and on the island of Porto Santo. It is eaten in salads but is little used in the archipelago.
