Peixe-Verde (Julis pavo)

A fish of the Labridae family, common along the coast and preferring rocky areas covered with algae, where it can find small mollusks, sea urchins, crustaceans, and other small hard-shelled animals that it crushes with its strong dentition. Its flesh is somewhat soft but of not unpleasant taste. It is also known by the name cagão.
