Pegador (Echeneis remora)

A rare fish in our seas, it belongs to the Echeneidae family. It is equipped with a wide disc on its dorsal region, with transverse lamellae, which acts as a suction cup, allowing it to attach to the belly of sharks, turtles, and the sides of ships, etc. It is also known as the remora fish.
