Passos (António Romão dos)

He was born in Ribeira Brava on February 28, 1866, but went to Portugal at a young age, where he attended secondary studies and the General Institute of Agriculture. For many years, he has been an agronomist for the Companhia Geral de Credito Predial Português. He published the Eulogy of Conselheiro João Inacio Ferreira Lapa, delivered at the solemn session of May 20, 1905 at the Society of Agronomic Sciences of Portugal, and it is also known that he published a biography of the wise botanist and agronomist D. Antonio Xavier Pereira Coutinho (1921).
