Nóbrega de Quintal (Luís de Ornelas)

Born in Madeira on June 18, 1894, he attended the Funchal lyceum, completed the course, and then went to the capital, where he was a reporter for the Republica, having joined the evolutionist party. He was elected as a deputy for India in 1919 and in the same year was appointed head of the 3rd section of the General Directorate of Civil Administration of the Ministry of the Colonies, having previously been the 2nd official of the same Directorate. He was governor of the Quanza do Sul district for some time, where he departed to in 1921.
