Nóbrega

Descended from Simão de Nóbrega, who founded the chapel of Santa Quitéria in Santo António. During the time of the fifth captain-donor, Simão Gonçalves da Câmara, there lived in Madeira a Gaspar de Nóbrega, who was the magistrate and lieutenant of the same donor, possibly giving rise to another branch of the same family.
