Neuville (Josefina)

Under the title 'Memórias da minha vida. Recordações de minhas viagens,' a work in two volumes was published in Lisbon in the year 1864, written by Josefina Neuville, which caused a great sensation at the time, even producing a real and resounding scandal. Among the characters that prominently feature in this work, the name of our distinguished compatriot Jacinto de Sant'Ana e Vasconcelos, 2nd Viscount of Nogueiras, stands out.
