Moreno

A populated and picturesque place in the parish of Santa Cruz, where there is a chapel dedicated to Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, founded in 1690 by Canon Manuel Ferreira Teixeira, incorporated into the Barretos estate of Santa Cruz, and of which Dr. Remigio Barreto is the current owner. This place is also known by the name Vale do Moreno.
