Morangueiro (Fragaria vesca)

A spontaneous and cultivated Rosaceae in Madeira. The strawberries produced in the gardens are large and highly esteemed; those from the mountains are small but tasty. The stoloniferous rhizomes of the strawberry are used in infusion against jaundice.
