Morais (Padre Luís de)

Barbosa Machado says that Father Luís de Morais, a Jesuit, was a native of this island and died in the year 1622. He wrote the Sermon of the Beatification of Saint Francis Xavier, which is included in the Relação das Festas, published in 1621.
