Mitten (William)

An English bryologist who studied the Muscineas collected by James Yate Johnson in Madeira. His herbarium was acquired by the New York Botanical Garden in 1906, as stated in a letter written by Professor Cockerell to the Madeiran zoologist A. C. de Noronha.
