Presentation / Apresentação

At the location of Lombo da Apresentação in the parish of Ribeira Brava, there was a chapel dedicated to Nossa Senhora da Apresentação, founded in 1524 by João Mendes de Brito. It was later incorporated into the Heredias' entailed estate, the last representative of which was the Viscount of Ribeira Brava.
